Dance Week 2025/ Afrobeats
Come celebrate 3 years of Afrobeats at Abbott Square Market alongside the “dancing in the street” event where the streets of downtown Santa Cruz are closed off for dancers, teams and troupes to show off what they got. If you haven't had a chance to experience this dance festival you are truly in for a treat!
Flypaper Blues
Santa Cruz-based Americana band Flypaper Blues is straight out of your grandfather's rifle barrel. A little whiskey, coffee grinds, 2-in-1 oil, and a whole lot of fiddle, driving drums, and bass rhythms. This 100% homegrown, local band brings influences from traditional bluegrass, post-punk, ragtime, to alt-country genres. Songwriting is personal, comedic, and inspired by the existential need to transcend the hazards and pitfalls of modern life with soul-nourishing music.

Coffee Zombie Collective
Coffee Zombie Collective formed in 2010 as a loose group of sleep-deprived musicians playing their favorite lesser-heard songs alongside karaoke barn-burner hits. The band has continued to evolve, mixing in their own originals alongside twisted acoustic reimaginings of contemporary pop hits such as Lourde's "Royals" and cult classics such as Motörhead's "Ace of Spades." Coffee Zombie Collective takes the songs you love, or love to hate, and weaves them into medlies, or upside-down interpretations that always leaves audiences smiling. The band's high-energy stage performances whip audiences into sing-along dance frenzies. The repeated on-stage mantra is "If you know the words, sing along. If you don't know the words, sing louder!" If you're at the show, you're part of the collective, and highly encouraged to contribute in the frisky, sweaty, ad-libbed sound explosion that is Coffee Zombie Collective. It's never the same show twice.

Robert Hager and the Wolf Pack is a high energy rock and blues band from Santa Cruz California. Robert Hager is a veteran of the San Francisco Bay Area and Santa Cruz music scene. He is a multi-instrumentalist and master of the Stratocaster and Harmonica. Karen Wolf lead vocals, Craig Underwood drums and Randal Rogers on bass.
