Be Natural "Kids Day" Youth Rock Show
Be Natural Music will showcase their youth Rock and Jazz bands at “Kids Day” in Downtown Santa Cruz on May 4th, between 11:30AM - 2:30PM.
There will be seven bands showcasing their extraordinary talents. Kids Day in Downtown Santa Cruz is a great opportunity to catch the youth of Santa Cruz performing live during the day. Local residents are invited to drop by and enjoy the music along with many other events and shenanigans happening.

El Sol
El Sol is a 10 piece band devoted to Salsa music - especially Salsa Dura NY-style. We play original arrangements of classic 70's songs from Eddie Palmieri, Ray Barretto, and Willie Colon as well as Latin standards and even a few Beatles songs. Our two singers, two trombones, flute, bongo, conga, timbale, keyboards and bass create an infectious groove that will bring you to the dance floor.

Be Natural Youth Rock Show
Be Natural Music closes its Spring Concert Season and Fundraising Campaign on Saturday, May 11th from 12:30PM-4:30PM at the Abbott Square Stage in downtown Santa Cruz. Local residents are invited to drop by, grab a bite, a drink, and enjoy the music.
There will be seven youth bands showcasing their extraordinary talents on the Live Stage! Help keep their studio doors open to anyone who wants to learn music, regardless of their financial situation, by making a donation. Bid on dozens of cool items; guitars, amps, gift cards to local venues & excursions, skateboards and more! Every dollar donated goes into their scholarship fund which supports 45 students each month. Come celebrate the festivities with them!

Plateau Jazz Band
The Plateau Jazz Band is a six-piece traditional jazz band from Santa Cruz, California. They play New Orleans influenced, Preservation Hall inspired, prohibition era dance jazz. Their repertoire includes hot jazz songs like Dr. Jazz & That's a Plenty, blues tunes like St. Louis Blues & St. James Infirmary Blues, and swing dance standards like Blue Skies, Dinah, & I’m Going to Sit Right Down (and write myself a letter).
The band members include: Bill "Ti" Lamb: trumpet, Philip Rice: trombone, Tony DeVincentis: clarinet, Peter Thomas: banjo uke, Peter Young: bass, Olaf Schiappacasse: drums.
